Come celebrate the achievements of Sky Island Alliance’s amazing volunteers in 2016! We will gather at La Cocina on Tuesday April 25th from 5 to 9 pm. We will provide a free taco bar from 5:30-7, live music, and award some very special patches for some super dedicated volunteers. We will have hats and t-shirts for sale too. This is a great opportunity to meet staff, board and fellow volunteers, and hang out with people who care about the Sky Islands! We’ll introduce you to what we have planned for 2017, and more ways to get involved!

Sky Island Alliance is a people-powered conservation organization – we couldn’t do what we do without you! Together, over 600 volunteers and citizen scientists contributed more than 12,600 hours in 2016, to help restore springs and watersheds; plant native pollinator plants for Monarch butterflies, hummingbirds and bees; track wildlife and check cameras; advocate for wildlife crossings; collect data to help us adapt to climate change; explore biodiversity; protect open space; and a whole lot more.
