Summit Hut has proudly selected Sky Island Alliance as one of this year’s five finalists for the Banff Grant! Community members decide who wins by voting for their favorite organization. You can vote during the whole month of February and the winners will be announced on March 6th.
The two organizations receiving the most votes will win $2,000 each and the three runners-up will each receive a $250 Summit Hut gift card!
ONLINE:
You have to use a valid email address and only one vote per email address for the entire voting process.

The rules for in-store voting is one vote per day at either store location. There will be jars set-up in the stores for folks to come in and drop a poker chip into the jar they want to vote for.
About the grant
As a company that encourages safe and responsible exploration of the outdoors, Summit Hut feels a deep connection to local organizations that help preserve, educate about and enhance our community’s experience in our environment and wild places. Each year, Summit Hut hosts the Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival, a collection of inspirational mountain culture films with an environmental message, with a portion of the proceeds donated back to the community in the form of Banff Grants.
