Meet at House Pond at 8:30 am on Sunday, October 18th. If you would prefer to caravan with us from Tucson, please be ready for a 7:00am departure from OUR NEW OFFICE LOCATION. We will spend the full day on the project and expect to be back in Tucson by no later than 5:00pm.
This is rated as a moderate event due to uneven terrain and will include installing and watering new native plants, removing weeds and other associated tasks. No hiking is necessary, but participants will be working together to lift heavy items and/or conducting work with shovels and other hand tools. We will also be looking to complete installation of a monarch butterfly waystation (http://www.monarchwatch.org/waystations/), with native milkweed plants as well as plants for other pollinators such as hummingbirds and bees.
